Good Shepherd’s 6th and 7th graders attended a presentation by author Geanna Culberson on Oct. 24.  The students have been reading the third book in Geanna’s Crisanta Knight Series.  The strikingly youthful author spoke of her three emphases: self-acceptance, never giving up to obstacles, and making proactive choices.  She read the prologue of the forthcoming fourth volume in the series, followed by a spirited question and answer session.

Good Shepherd Episcopal School students joined with their peers from Punta Gorda Middle School and Charlotte Preparatory School (Charlotte Academy) for the event at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center.  The event was sponsored by the Friends of the Punta Gorda Library, with funding support from the Punta Gorda Rotary Foundation.
